Strawberries 'n' Cream Smoothie

Frozen strawberries blended together with beet root powder and grass-fed whey make a deliciously creamy shake.

I like to start all of my smoothies by putting oats and chia seeds on the bottom of my high speed blender and blend together on high for 30 seconds. This ensures the oats and chia are finely ground and makes a wonderfully creamy smoothie! Also make sure you get your oats from a high quality source to ensure they are organic and preferably gluten free.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. organic gluten free oats

  • 3 tbl organic chia seeds

  • 2 scoops of AzureWell Beetroot Powder

  • 1/2 c. frozen organic strawberries

  • 5 scoops of Designs for Health Whey Cool - grass-fed whey powder

  • 1 small pour of organic maple syrup

  • 2 cups of plant based milk, raw milk, or organic A2 milk

  • 4 cups of filtered water

Instructions:

  1. Using a high speed blender, blend together the oats and chia seeds on the highest speed for 30 seconds.

  2. Then place all other ingredients in the blender with the frozen strawberries on top.

  3. Blend together for approximately 1 minute

  4. Serve!

  5. Scale the ingredients up or down to increase or decrease the servings. This recipe makes about 6 servings. Also, add more or less liquid to make the smoothie thicker or thinner.

Azure Standard offers several wonderful nutritional powders, including beetroot powder. Use our practice code to receive 15% off your entire order of AzureWell Supplements. YWPractice15 - The code can be used multiple times. Enjoy! https://www.azurestandard.com/shop/search/azurewell

Additionally, I prefer to use Designs for Health's grass-fed whey powder. They have a vanilla, chocolate, and unflavored powder. I like the unflavored because it is simply grass-fed whey protein concentrate and nothing else. Use code YWPMAR15 for 15% off your entire DFH order in our online store. https://www.designsforhealth.com/u/meganvardeman
